PR Contest Explained

I hope all clubs have been busy compiling all their Public Relations pieces.

Club Marketing & Public Relations   Club brochures, business cards, certificates
Promotional items   Club display/plaques
Newsletter   Chamber of Commerce Listing
Website   Print Media
Newspaper event coverage   Letters to the Editor
Mentions in other organization newsletters   Flyers/Posters/Brochures
Broadcast Media   Public Service announcements
Club Videos      


Criteria: Club achievements will be judged in the following areas:
Marketing/Public Relations, Print Media, Broadcast Media.
Professionalism of the presentation will be considered in the judging.
 
Time Period: April 2, 2001 (changed from original flyer) to April 1, 2002
 
Submission Procedure: All entries to be on 8 1/2" x 11" paper in a three ring binder not to exceed 100 pages (50 front and back). Photographs should be in protective cover sheets. Hand written entries not accepted. Submission must include a cover letter from the club president.

Congratulations to all the clubs who have web sites!! Every club should check those out. The Public Relations Committee is trying to get a web site workshop at the Leadership Training Retreat.
